Installing Yggdrasil on Android:
Step 1:
Download the Yggdrasil application from either of the following sources:
- F-Droid https://f-droid.org/en/packages/eu.neilalexander.yggdrasil/
- GitHub https://github.com/yggdrasil-network/yggdrasil-android/releases
Step 2: Choose the nearest peer from the list of available countries on this page: Public Peers https://publicpeers.neilalexander.dev/. Copy the peer's information to your clipboard.
Step 3: Open the Yggdrasil app and go to the "Peers" section. Hit "+" and paste the peer's info in the field that appears, then save the changes.
Step 4: Return to the app's main menu and tap "Start Yggdrasil".
Step 5: Open the following site to validate your connection: http://[200:ff39:a94d:1877:156c:448a:3bd8:1c54]/
Step 6: To recognize Ygg and Anon domain names, add any of the listed IPv6 addresses labeled "Alfis" in the app's "DNS" section. Check the list here https://yggdrasil-network.github.io/services.html.
Step 7: Activate the Yggdrasil connection.
Step 8:
Open your browser and test active domains, for example:
Note: When the Yggdrasil client is active, all DNS requests will be redirected through the application, enhancing your level of anonymity.
